ABU Diploma Admission requirement
Diploma in Computer Science
Duration : 4 Semesters
Requirement : Five (5) ‘O’ level (WAEC/NECO) passes at Credit level in subjects which MUST include English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any other two relevant subjects in Science and/or Social Science at not more than two sittings.
Diploma in Computer System Engineering
Duration : 4 Semesters
Requirement : Five (5) ‘O’ level (WAEC/NECO) passes at Credit level in subjects which MUST include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other two relevant subjects in Science and/or Social Science at not more than two sittings.
Diploma in Election Administration
Duration : 24 Calendar moths of four semesters.First and Second Semester for intensive teaching.Third and fourth semester for internship and project writing.
Requirement : Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent with four (4) credits including English
Language. Matured students without the necessary academic qualifications may be considered, if sponsored by relevant organizations.
Diploma in Adult and Community Development Education
Duration : 4 Semesters
Requirement : Candidates for ACD MUST have any of the following:At least four (4) credit passes at SSCE/GCE ‘O’ level in subjects including English Language,OR. Grade II Teachers’ Certificate with at least merit passes in four (4) subjects including English Language.
Diploma in Arabic Language Education
Duration : 4 Semesters
Requirement : Candidates for ALE MUST have any of the following:Grade II Teachers’ Certificate with at least four (4) merit passes in subjects including Arabic and English Language, OR S. I. S. Certificate with four (4) credit passes in subjects including Arabic and English Language, OR SSCE/GCE ‘O’ level with four (4) credit passes in subjects including Arabic and English Language.

Duration : 4 Semesters
Requirement : Candidates for ALE MUST have any of the following:Grade II Teachers’ Certificate with at least four (4) merit passes in subjects including Arabic and English Language, OR S. I. S. How to Apply For Abu Diploma Form
The following is a step-by-step guide or method of application
for submitting the application form:
1. To apply for the application form online, applicants
must visit > https://portal.abu.edu.ng/forms .
2. Make a Transaction ID.
3. Use the Transaction ID to make a payment at the bank.
4. Bring the slip back to the portal.
5. Continue with the form, making sure to fill in all mandatory fields.
6. When you’ve finished filling out the form, click the Submit button.
NOTE: You CANNOT edit your form once you have submitted it at the final step; therefore, I recommend that you double-check all of the information you enter before clicking the submit button.
