Agbami Scholarship for Medical & Engineering programs

Level: 200L

Worth: Medical awardees = N200,000

Engineering Students awardees = N100,000

NAOC National Scholarship

The Agip Petroleum Company in partnership with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company awards national scholarships to Nigerian undergraduate students every year. The scholarship is tenable in Nigeria only.

WORTH: N100,000 every session till graduation.

FSB/NA

A Federal Government Scholarship through the Ministry of Education to indigent Nigerian students in Nigeria Tertiary Institutions. Undergraduate and Postgraduate.

Level: All Levels.

Worth: 250K per session.

RECOMMENDED: FGN Bilateral Education Agreement Scholarship (BEA)

Federal Gov’t Education Bursary

This is a scholarship awarded to students of education-related courses in Nigerian universities and colleges of Education by the Fed government of Nigeria.

Level: All levels.

Worth: N150,000 for University Education students and N100,000 for NCE students.

MTN Scholarship

MTN awards scholarships to Nigerian undergraduate students studying science and technology courses in Nigerian Tertiary institutions.

NNPC/Chevron Scholarship

Chevron in collaboration with the Nigerian national petroleum company also awards scholarships to Nigerian undergraduate students.

NNPC/Total Scholarship

Total Oil and Gas Company partners with the NNPC to award numerous merit scholarships to Nigerian students in different universities in Nigeria.

Level: 100 and 200 levels.

TDF Scholarships Programme.

There is the in-country scholarship and Overseas. It is awarded mainly to Engineering Majors.

Level: 200L.

Worth: First Payment, 650k ( including money for a laptop). Subsequently, 400K per session till graduation.

NNPC/Addax Scholarship

The NNPC through its joint venture with Addax Petroleum awards several meritorious scholarships to qualified and deserving Nigerian undergraduate students every year.

Level: 100L.

Worth: N100,000 every session till graduation.

Exxon Mobil Scholarship

The Exxon Mobil petroleum company in fulfilment of its corporate social responsibility awards hundreds of scholarships to undergraduates of Nigerian origin.

Shell (SPDC) Scholarship:

The Shell Petroleum Development Company in partnership with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company awards national scholarships to Nigerian undergraduate students every year. The scholarship is tenable in Nigeria only.

Level: 100L and 200L

Worth: N150,000 every session till graduation.

NNPC/Seplat JV Scholarship

SEPLAT Petroleum Company in collaboration with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company awards national scholarships to Nigerian undergraduate students every year.

Level: 200 level and above.

Worth: N150,000 every session till graduation.

SNEPCo Scholarship

NNPC through its joint venture with SNEPCo Petroleum, awards several meritorious scholarships to qualified and deserving Nigerian undergraduate students every year.

Level: 200L

Worth: The first payment is usually N300,000.

Subsequently, N200,000 every year till graduation.

Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) Scholarship

The Nigerian LNG company awards scholarships to suitable and deserving students in different Nigerian universities every year.

Worth: Now upgraded to 300K per year.

Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship

Jim Ovia Foundation Scholarship

The philanthropic founder of Zenith Bank plc, Chief Jim Ovia, through his foundation, awards scholarships to Nigerian undergraduate students from different parts of the country.

Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation (SABMF) Scholarship

This is awarded to undergraduate students from the 19th northern states of Nigeria plus FCT studying in Nigeria universities.

Worth: 100k per year till graduation.

Important point to Note

• The scholarship runs until one graduate has a certain CGPA you as an awardee must maintain (not fall below.)

• Aptitude Tests are conducted for shortlisted candidates for the likes of Seplat, Snepco, NAOC, SPDC, and some others.

• While there is no aptitude test/examination for the likes of Agbami, Chevron, FSB/NA, Fed Gov’t Education bursary, etc. At least, for their latest awardees, there was no aptitude test. Just your signed statement of result. ( Need for a strong CGPA)
