BUK 2023 Undergraduate Screening and Registration Guide: Complete Procedure.

This is to inform all fresh BUK students that the registration exercise (Payment of School Fees and Course Registration) for the 2022/2023 Academic Session ends by Sunday, Midnight, 30th July 2023

BUK Registration Procedures 2023

Step 1:

Start with  Jamb by accepting and printing the Jamb Admission letter.

All admitted candidate must have printed their jamb admission letter before getting access to screen online via the BUK screening portal.

JAMB admission letter is very important.

Step 2:
Login here with their Jamb Number, State of Origin, and gender to check Admission status via this link.

Note: only jamb admitted students will be given access to print BUK admission letter

Download the BUK Admission letter, Undertaking here, and University Health Services Registration Form here

Step 4:
Generate, download, and print a BUK Personalized Payment Form (BUKPPF). The acceptance fee of Ten Thousand naira (N10,000.00) is reflected on the student’s BUKPPF, to be paid using Remita e-Payments and e-Collection platforms.

Make sure you carefully read, understand and follow the payment procedure, as BUK will not be liable for any loss of funds as a result of incorrect data entry, which may lead to unnecessary delay in validating and processing of payment. Payment can be validated by the students via clicking check payment status at the payment page.

Step 5:

Documents Needed for BUK registration

Upload the following documents in jpg format (Size must be less than 1MB):

  • Jamb Slip
  • Jamb Admission Letter
  • O Level Result
  • A Level Result (DE Candidates only)
  • Any other relevant document(s), which include
  •  Primary school certificate
  • O’level results
  • Certificate of birth
  • Indigene form (state of origin)
  • Jamb original result (not jamb slip)
  •  Admission letter
  •  Medical Examination report
  • Two recent passport
  • Acceptance fees payment slip

Note:
The above document(s) may be rejected due to poor quality or otherwise.
However, Candidates are expected to re-upload a clearer copy, if any of the documents is rejected.
Image upload should be in Jpeg format, low quality.

For inquiries/complaint(s), Candidates are to use the message box icon on the right side of the site.
After this step, Candidates may experience a delay of 12 to 24 hours while awaiting documents to be approved

NOTE: it must be approved before you can proceed with the course registration!

Step 6:
Print the Acknowledgement Slip, which contains the registration number and further instructions to be followed for the registration and documentation.
That’s, you be given a JAMB matriculation number after your document are screened and approved by BUK within 24hrs which will give u direct access to start course registration,

After you are done with the course registration, you are to submit your document again to your level coordinators for physical documentation

Note: In step 5 above, students may experience a delay of 12 to 24 hours while awaiting documents to be approved.

Your upload can be declined as a result of poor image quality

Step 7:
After successful completion of the above steps, students are to proceed to registration here for the online registration exercise.
A list of all courses to be registered will be posted too as soon as possible, all departments
